Have you ever started something with great enthusiasm, but just ended up quitting halfway? I certainly have… many times and I’m not proud of it at all. This is a very common problem that everyone faces in life either due to loss of interest, motivation or due to an unexpected life event/circumstances. It’s normal, it happens. Some may choose to move on to other things, while others may choose to try again.
It’s been over a year since my cousin and I decided to document our little life adventures and share them on the internet. However, things didn’t go as planned. After we posted our first video in January 2018, it just seemed to have ended there. We became busy with our own lives and it also didn’t help that we didn’t have a clear vision of what we wanted to do with “MARS&DY.” In the end, we left our ideas on the back burner…
A year later, after re-examining our initial ideas and aligning it with our current goals, we decided to resume making videos. This time, without too much pressure. We decided to upload every other week, each of us getting a chance to edit one video a month. Making videos for MARS&DY is a way for us to channel our creative ideas through video editing. It also serves as an archive of our little adventures that we can to look back on in the future.
We hope to continue making memories together!
In order to help ourselves continue when things get rough, I think it’s important for us to remind ourselves of the reason why we even started in the first place and aligning our initial ideas with our present ones.
As per usual, here is another video of us eating but this time, we have special guests with us. We also painted for the first time which was so much fun! Continue reading “Dim Sum Brunch & Paint Night”
It’s almost time to say goodbye to all those winter layerings as the weather in Montreal starts to get warmer. In order to fully enjoy the beautiful weather, we thought what better way to celebrate than to go on a food adventure!
For today’s food adventure, we decided to pay LApop a visit for the first time- a cute little place located in Old Montreal. Can you guess what kind of food they sell? 😉
The holiday season is over and a new year has finally come knocking on our doors. The year of 2017 was a rollercoaster ride that enveloped us all with varying degrees emotions. Without realizing it, every moment slowly turned into a wonderful memory that we can all look back on for many years to come. Continue reading “New Kids on the Block”
